On-line Applications are invited for filling up the post of Police Sub-Inspector (Male) in the Administration of Daman & Diu as under:
Post Detail :
1.Name of the Post : – Police Sub-Inspector (Male) Group ‘B'(Non-Ministerial, Non-Gazetted)
2.Pay Scale : –PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 Plus Grade Pay of Rs 42001-
3.No. of Posts : – Total -10 (Ten) – (ST-02 OBC-02 UR-06)

Physical Requirement.
(i) Height not less than 168 centimeters
(ii) Chest Measurement 81-85 centimeters
(iii) Should undergo physical efficiency test as per following standard :
(a) 800-Meter Run in 3.30 minutes.
(b) High Jump-1.07 Mts.
(c) Long Jump-3.68 Mts
(Selected Candidate will have to undergo medical examination. They should have sound state of health. Free from defect/deformity/diseases, vision 6/6 without glasses both eyes, free from color blindness)
Instructions :-
1.The eligible Candidate shall produce their original documents during Physical Endurance Test.
2.The Final Selected Candidates may have to undergo training in Modus Operandi, Fingerprint, Bomb detection & Disposal and Band.
3.Any Indian citizen can apply for the post. However, applicant who is Domicile of Daman & Diu shall be given weightage in accordance with Daman & Diu Circular 0.M No.1-1-87-CS/PF/2823 dated 16-12-2013 subject to his submitting Domicile Certificate in his own name issued by the Marnlatdar, of UT. of Daman & Diu.
4.Selected Candidate will have to undergo medical examination. They should have sound state of health. Free from defect/deformity/diseases, vision 6/6 without glasses both eyes, free from color blindness.
5.Relaxable for Sons of deceased Police personnel of Daman & Diu, who died while in service, up to 5 years, subject to production of relevant documents.
6.The candidates claiming ST/OBC shall be required to furnish certificate issued by Competent Authority
