Applications in the prescribed format are invited from the intending candidates for recruitment to the following Group-C posts on contractual basis in view of the provisions laid down under Odisha Group-C & Group-D posts (Contractual appointment) Rules, 2013, notified vide Notification No.32010/Gen. dated 12.11.2013 of the Government of Odisha in their General Administration Department.
Employment Notification Recruitment of Stenographer & Driver in Office of the District Judge, Keonjhar
The decision of the District Judge, Keonjhar as to the result of the Examination shall be final and in no case, shall be liable to be challenged.
Name of the Post:
1. Stenographer, Grade-III (Junior Stenographer)
Basic pay + Grade pay: Rs.5200/- +Rs.2400/-
2. Driver
Basic pay + Grade pay: Rs.5200/- +Rs.1900/-

Eligibility Criteria:
(a) For the Post of Stenographer Grade-III (Jr. Stenographer)
(i)be a citizen of India.
(ii)have passed at least +2 examination conducted by the Council constituted under section 3 of the Orissa Higher Secondary Education Act, 1982 or its equivalent examination from a recognized Council/ Board or University, as the case may be.
(iii)have at least passed Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized Institute.
(iv)be over 18 years and below 32 years of age on the last date fixed for receipt of application (Provided that the upper age limit in respect of reserved categories of candidates shall be relaxed in accordance with the provisions of the relevant Act, Rules, Orders or Instructions for the time being in force, for the respective reserved categories).
(v)possess minimum speed of 80 words per minute in shorthand and minimum speed of 40 words per minute in English Typing.
(vi)be able to speak, read and write odia and have passed a test in odia equivalent to the M.E. standard.
(vii)be of good character.
(viii)be of sound health, good physique and free from organic defects or bodily infirmity; and
(ix)have not more than one spouse living, if married.
(x)have no criminal antecedent on the date of application.
(b) For the Post of Driver
(i)be a citizen of India.
(ii)have passed M.E. standard (Passed Class-VIII) with Odia & English;
(iii)have a valid L.M.V. Driving Licence with at least 03 (three) years experience in driving;
(iv)be over 18 years and below 32 years of age on the last date fixed for receipt of application (Provided that the upper age limit in respect of reserved categories of candidates shall be relaxed in accordance with the provisions of the relevant Act, Rules, Orders or Instructions for the time being in force, for the respective reserved categories).
(v)be able to speak, read and write Odia and have passed a test in Odia equivalent to the M.E. standard.
(vi)be of good character.
(vii)be of sound health, good physique and free from organic defects or bodily infirmity; and
(viii)have not more than one spouse living, if married.
(ix)have no criminal antecedent on the date of application.
Fees For Examination: The candidates are required to deposit fees of Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred) only in shape of Treasury Challan under the Head “0070-other administrative services-01-administration of Justice-501-Services and Service fees-0010-charges for service provided-02177-examination fees for recruitment conducted by Orissa District & Subordinate Courts” and to submit the original copy of challan along with their application forms.
The SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of the Examination fees.
The candidates are required to submit their application being duly filled in and signed by their own hands furnishing the required particulars as per the format given below. The candidates who are in Government Service are required to apply through proper channel.
