Post Vacancy: Research Associate (Ergonomics)
Essential Qualification & Experience: Minimum qualification of the Research Associate: Postgraduate/engineering degree with ergonomics specialization and minimum three years of research experience in the area of ergonomics.
Remuneration: 30,000 /- per month
Job Profile: To assist the PI/CO-PI in the following activities:
1.Detailed comparative analysis of various palanquins used in Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine and other heritage sites in India.
2.Study of human factors in palanquin operation like, ingress and egress of the passenger, lifting, carrying and lowering of the palanquins by the porters on various terrains.
3.Conducting experiments like, load distribution on the shoulder of the porters, posture and movement analysis while carrying palanquin, measuring physiological cost and fatigue level of the porters while carrying palanquin.
