Various positions are required under a collaborative research project of Media Lab Asia (MCIT, Gol) and Central Agricultural University (CAU) entitled “Development and Deployment of Mobile based Agro-Advisory System in North-East India (m4agriNEI)”. The eligible candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview before the selection committee at the Dean’s Chamber of the College of Post Graduate Studies, CAU, Umiam (Barapani) on given date and time for respective position. The number of positions, remuneration and the eligibility criteria are as given below:

Position
1.Agro Associate
Eligibility: M.Sc (Agri.) in Plant Breeding & Genetics,Entomology,Pathology,Horticulture,Agri. Economics/Extension and   M.V.Sc (Animal Husbandry)
2.Field Manager
Eligibility: B. Sc Agriculture.
3.Farmer Co-Ordinator
Eligibility: Class XII pass in any discipline.
The positions are purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier. The maximum Age limit is 35 years for all the positions (Age relaxation would be given as per GOI rules). The candidates should bring application in the prescribed format (as given in www.cpgs.ac.in and www.catj.ac.in) and bio-data in plain paper along with 2 photographs, original certificates regarding qualifications, experience, attested photo copies of the certificates and NOC from the last employer (if already working). Application submission will be on the same day of the interview from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. No TA/DA will be paid for the candidates appearing for the walk-in-interview.
