Vacancy Details:
1.Research Associate (1) & Research Assistant (1) under ICSSR Project on “Mitigating Disasters and Promoting Development in Uttarakhand”.
2.Research Associate (1) & Assistant (1) under Ministry of Law and Justice Project on “Performance Indicator for Subordinate Courts and Suggestive Policy / Procedural Changes for Reducing Civil Case Pendency”.
3.Academic Associate (1): Under COE-PPG / The World Bank Project on Environmental Management.
Eligibility: MA/LLM in any subject of Social Sciences or equivalent in allied disciplines with minimum 55% aggregate marks. MPhil/PhD scholars will be given preference.
Experience desirable for Associate level: Previous research experience, statistical tools. Good writing, analytical, presentation skills, Computer knowledge (word, excel, SPSS).
For Assistant level: Knowledge of local dialects of Uttarakhand, experience in fieldwork.
Remuneration: As per funding agency guidelines: ICSSR (Research Associate: Rs 16,000 pm, Research Assistant: Rs 13,000 pm); Ministry of Law and Justice (Research Associate: Rs 28,000 pm, Research Assistant: 25,000 pm); COE Academic Associate: Rs 20,000 – 30,000 pm depending on qualifications and experience. Positions carry separate TA/DA for fieldwork.
