Vacancy Details:
Position:
1.Research Associate
Qualification: Doctorate degree with thesis research in biotechnology/ bioinformatics
or
Post graduate degree in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics with 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA with at least 2 years of research experience as evidenced from fellowship/associate ship/training/other engagements.
2.Senior Research Fellow
Qualification: Post graduate degree in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Plant physiology
3.Lab Assistant
Qualification: Graduate degree in Biotechnology/ plant sciences
4.Field Assistant
Qualification: Graduate degree in Agriculture
Terms and conditions:
1)The above position is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis up to 31st March 2016, which may be further extended on half yearly basis after satisfactory performance of the incumbent till termination of the project. There is no provision of re-engagement after termination of the project. The selected candidate shall not claim for regular appointment at this institute as the fellowship is co-terminus with the project.
2)Age limit: 35 years for SRF and 40 years for RA as on the closing date of the application. Age relaxation of 5 years to SC/ST & women candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates will be given as per ICAR rules.
3)No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
4)The candidates are required to submit the application in the attached format at the time of interview along with one passport size photograph pasted on it, self attested copies of certificates for age, and qualifications, reprints of publications and ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the present employer. Candidates have to bring all original documents at the time of interview.
