Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) is a joint venture between the Indian and Kerala Governments that oversees the Kochi Metro Rail project’s implementation and operation & maintenance. KMRL has also been entrusted by the Kerala Government for constructing Flyovers at Sreekaryam, Ulloor & Pattom as part of the Light Metro Projects in Thiruvanathapuram and for implementing the Light Metro Project when sanctioned.
Employment Notification Chief Project Manager for KMRL Thiruvanathapuram
KMRL is seeking to hire a Chief Project Manager on a re-employment basis to head the projects at Thiruvanathapuram. Applications are invited from experienced, dynamic, result-driven, and motivated individuals with expertise in planning, design, and/or execution of large construction projects.
The ideal candidate should hold a B.E./B.Tech or B.Sc (Engg.) degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute and possess a minimum of 22 years of experience in planning, design, and/or civil construction in engineering industries, with at least eight years of experience in planning, design, and/or handling Rail-related projects.

Preference will be given to candidates who have independently handled planning, design, and/or execution of civil works in rail-related projects and have dealt with contract management, DPR preparation of metro rail projects, coordination with State Govt./Local Body Authorities, Land Acquisition, etc.
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated pay of Rs.1,40,000/- per month or suitable consolidated pay commensurate to the last pay drawn by them, as per KMRL’s extant rules.
