Post/Grade: Probationary Engineer/ E-II
Education Qualification & Discipline:
– B.E/B.Tech in Mechatronics from an AICTE approved College/Institute or a recognized University with First Class.

– CTC/Pay Scale: Approximately 12 Lakhs per annum / Rs. 40,000 – 3% – 1,40,000

– Educational Qualification Note:
– Only candidates with a B.E/B.Tech in Mechatronics need to apply.
– The discipline/specialization mentioned in the relevant Degree Certificates should match the discipline/specialization prescribed in the advertisement; otherwise, the application will not be considered.
– Post-Qualification Industrial Experience (Added Advantage):
– Experience in unmanned platforms & automation systems.
– Hands-on experience in part and assembly modeling using 3D modeling software, generating 2D drawings, thermal and structural analysis, reliability engineering, and knowledge of manufacturing processes.
– Hands-on experience in Industrial Automation PLC, MATLAB, Simulink, etc.
– Hands-on experience in integrating electronics components/modules with mechanical systems.
– Hands-on experience in selecting electronics components/modules (sensors like LIDAR, GYRO, Ultrasound, Cameras, etc., motors, controllers, MEMS, Computers, embedded hardware, etc.) for platform realization.
– Hands-on experience in programming controllers, On-board Computing platforms, tuning systems to meet operational specifications.
– Exposure to Military Standards for electronic equipment.
– Experience in product design complying with Mil Standards related to environment and EMI, Reliability engineering, and Design for Six Sigma would be an added advantage.
– Upper Age Limit & Relaxation:
– The upper age limit is 25 years as of 01.05.2023.
– Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) category with a minimum of 40% disability will receive an age relaxation of 10 years in addition to their respective category. Relaxation will be extended as per Government guidelines for Ex-Servicemen.

Remuneration:
– The selected candidate will receive a pay scale of Rs. 40,000 – 3% – 1,40,000.
– Additionally, the remuneration package will include Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, 35% of the Basic Pay as perquisites, Performance Related Pay (PRP), Group Insurance, Medical facilities, and Provident Fund as per the Company’s rules.
Selection Procedure:

– Candidates must enter the application details accurately and attach the prescribed documents. If the details provided do not match the supporting documents, the application will be rejected without prior intimation.
– Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be called for a Written Test (85 marks) based on the screening of applications and submitted documents.
– Based on the Written Test score, candidates will be shortlisted for an interview in a 1:5 ratio according to merit.
– The list of candidates shortlisted for the Written Test/Interview will be posted on the BEL Website. Candidates must keep checking the website for updates.
– The final selection will be based on the combined merit of the Written Test (85 marks) and Interview (15 marks).
– The selected candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical examination and will be provisionally engaged subject to being found medically fit by the company’s Medical Officer.
